Maryland Plants & Supplies, Inc. was founded as a plant broker in 1978. Over the years we have changed and expanded our line to include the annual, perennial and blooming tropical liners, prefinished and limited finished plant material demanded by today’s consumer. Our staff is constantly on the lookout for plants that can be finished and wholesaled or retailed easily. Maryland Plants & Supplies, Inc. also stays on the cutting edge by providing greenhouse growers with the latest cultivars from the finest propagators in the U.S. for crops ranging from Allamanda to Zygocactus.
On the following pages you will find a list of the principal plant groups which Maryland Plants & Supplies, Inc. can provide. After that list, you will find a brief biography from the growers we are proud to represent. In many cases, the growers are local, allowing us to offer delivery on Maryland Plants & Supplies, Inc. heated trucks.
For more information, detailed plants lists and order forms, contact our Plant Department at 800-248-2818. To place orders, completed order forms may be faxed or mailed. Please use one order form per ship date. You may reproduce the order forms or, if you need extra forms, please contact our plant department. Customers are always welcome to phone in their orders. If questions arise as you develop your order, please call our Plant Department. Many times we can immediately inform you if a particular variety is not available and either recommend varieties serving as substitutes or locate another grower to satisfy your needs. After you have placed your order we mail or fax an acknowledgment. This includes important information regarding the ship date, method of shipment, quantities and varieties. Review this acknowledgment when you receive it to ensure that we have entered your order as requested.
